JamBase parter Osiris Media announced a new Phish-focused podcast entitled We’ve Got A Band and shared a trailer for the program. Issued under the “Undermine Presents” banner, the first season of the show will find co-hosts journalists Gabrielle Bluestone and James Del interviewing celebrity Phish fans about their own careers and connection with the band.
MSNBC’s Katy Tur, Bravo star Austen Kroll, “The Bear” actor Chris Witaske, 127 Hours mountaineer Aron Ralston, journalist Jake Sherman, former Justin Bieber guitarist Dan Kanter, comedian Scott Rogowsky and Mike Hanford of The Sloppy Boys will be among guests featured in season one of We’ve Got A Band. Section 119 has signed on to sponsor the series.
Chris Witaske will be profiled in the first episode with Austen Kroll interviewed in the second episode. Both installments premiere next Wednesday, June 7. Additional episodes will follow every Wednesday throughout the summer on the Undermine feed, available on Spotify, Apple and all major podcast providers.
“Putting this interview series together has been a blast from start to finish,” explained Gabrielle Bluestone, co-host and Executive Producer of We’ve Got A Band. “We had so much fun uniting such an accomplished, diversely talented group of people over the one thing they all have in common: they freaking love Phish. It’s been fascinating to learn how this band has influenced some of our favorite celebrities, and a delight to learn what life is like on the lot when everybody knows your name.”
