Phish Shares ‘Roggae’ From ‘Baker’s Dozen’ Residency: Pro-Shot Video

Phish shared official video of “Roggae” from their concert on July 22, 2017. The performance was part of the band’s 13-show Baker’s Dozen residency at Madison Square Garden in New York City, which will be released on Friday as The Baker’s Dozen: Live At Madison Square Garden.

The new live album is being issued as a massive box set containing every note played during the run as well as in 6-LP and 3-CD editions. Phish employed a donut flavor theme for the 13 shows at MSG and on July 22 the group chose Strawberry. They started the show with an a cappella version of The Beatles’ “Strawberry Fields Forever” and in the second set debuted a cover of Shuggie Otis’ “Strawberry Letter 23.” The opening set also included at 10-minute rendition of their original “Roggae,” which can be viewed in the video below featuring audio remixed by Elliot Scheiner:
