Phish Announces Philadelphia 2015 Show For ‘Dinner And A Movie’

Phish announced their August 12, 2015 concert at The Mann Center in Philadelphia for the next installment in their Dinner And A Movie archival replay series. The show will air on Tuesday, June 23 at 8:30 p.m. ET/5:30 p.m. PT.

The beneficiary for the next webcast is the Southern Poverty Law Center. “The Southern Poverty Law Center is dedicated to fighting hate and bigotry and to seeking justice for the most vulnerable members of our society,” as per Phish.com. “Using litigation, education, and other forms of advocacy, the SPLC works toward the day when the ideals of equal justice and equal opportunity will be a reality.” Head to the Southern Poverty Law Center’s website for info on how to donate.

The Dinner portion of the evening swings back to Trey Anastasio who shared a recipe from Phish’s tour chef Jim Hamilton for “Grilled Chicken and Sweet Potato with Salsa Verde and Green Bean Salad.” Read a note from Trey below:

“Summer’s here, and in my mind’s eye I imagine what it would be like to leave Rubber Jungle, go outside and grill. Wow! That would be the second most amazing thing I could imagine right now, second only to playing a summer Phish tour. Oh well, since we can’t do that, let’s grill!”
