Phish Lake Tahoe Setlist And The Skinny | Night One

This evening, Phish kicked off a two-night stand at Harvey’s Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena in Stateline, NV. The quartet’s first and only performances at the venue took place on August 9 and 10, 2011. One of the big stories of the night came at the end of the show, when “Weekapaug Groove,” split up from a “Mike’s Song” which took place towards the end of the second set, appeared in the encore for only the fourth time ever. In fact, it was the first time “Weekapaug Groove” started an encore and was played as part of an encore since May 23, 1990. Speaking of “Mike’s,” Phish continues to find new songs to pair with the longtime live staple as tonight “Mike’s Song” segued into “Slave To The Traffic Time” for the first time. Also of note, the evening’s first set contained tour debuts of “Gotta Jibboo” and “Walk Away” and those on Twitter are raving about the “Ghost” that took place in the second set of what looks to be an impressive all-around performance.
