If The Thunder Don’t Get You The Lightning Bolt Will: Philadelphia Flyers Announce Grateful Dead & Pearl Jam Nights 2024

National Hockey League team the Philadelphia Flyers will host a “Grateful Dead Night” and a “Pearl Jam Night” at Wells Fargo Center later this month. “Grateful Dead Night” 2024 will take place on Tuesday, March 12 when the Flyers take on the San Jose Sharks, while “Pearl Jam Night” 2024 follows on Thursday, March 14 featuring the home team versus the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Ticket packages for the Flyers’ third annual “Grateful Dead Night” purchased via this link include a commemorative Flyers x Grateful Dead t-shirt and access to a pregame concert from GD tribute band Splintered Sunlight beginning at 5 p.m.

All tickets for the Flyers’ second annual “Pearl Jam Night” bought through this link come with a special Flyers x Pearl Jam t-shirt and include entry to a pregame show by PJ tribute act The Ledbetters. A portion of proceeds from ticket sales will go towards Pearl Jam’s Vitalogy Foundation.

Both bands have a long history of performing in Philadelphia. The Grateful Dead first played the city on April 26, 1968 and performed a record-setting 53 times at the now-shuttered Spectrum between 1968 and 1995.

Pearl Jam made their Philadelphia debut back in 1991. The band was tapped to close the Spectrum with a four-night run in 2009. Wells Fargo Center has hosted the Seattle-based rockers four times including their famed Ten Show in 2016. Pearl Jam will return to the Wells Fargo Center on September 7 and 9 as part of their upcoming world tour.
