Phil will also guest with Goodnight, Texas at Terrapin’s Grate Room on Friday, April 8 and will complete a triple-header by sitting-in with Jason Crosby & Friends on Saturday, April 9.
Dickinson is touring in support of his recently issued new solo album Blues & Ballads (A Folksinger’s Songbook) Vol. I & II. Opening the show at Terrapin Crossroads will be veteran singer-songwriter Jim Lauderdale. Lesh and Dickinson teamed up at Terrapin Crossroads for a pair of North Mississippi Allstars shows last December. Luther and his NMAS band mate Cody Dickinson have also performed with as members of Phil Lesh & Friends over the past few years.
Goodnight, Texas is an Americana band featuring songwriters Avi Vinocur and Patrick Dyer Wolf. The full band will perform at Terrapin on the 8th with support from Midnight North and the aforementioned guest spot from Phil. As for Jason Crosby, the multi-instrumentalist is a Phil & Friends regular. Jason’s band on the 9th will feature Stu Allen, Scott Law, Jay Lane and Jason’s brother Chris Crosby who will hold down the bass when Lesh isn’t on stage.
Tickets to all three shows are currently available via the venue website and box office.
