Phil Lesh Makes $10K Donation To Kavanaugh Accuser

Earlier this week a rumor was circulating that Phil Lesh had made a $10,000 contribution to a GoFundMe page benefiting Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, who has accused Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault, and her family. Late yesterday afternoon Rolling Stone confirmed that the former Grateful Dead bassist had indeed made the donation, though he declined to provide further comment.

Lesh, who earlier this month played a benefit concert for HeadCount at New York City’s Apollo Theater, made the contribution last Sunday to now-closed GoFundMe campaign, which raised $528,314 for Ford and her family.
