Phil Lesh Enlists Jennifer Hartswick, Eric Krasno & More For July 2023 Phil & Friends Concerts
The Grateful Dead bassist added shows for his ensemble in Boston and New Haven.

Grateful Dead bassist Phil Lesh added Phil Lesh & Friends headlining shows surrounding the project’s appearance at the Great South Bay Music Festival in July. The newly confirmed concerts will take place in Boston and New Haven, Connecticut.
The lineup for all three shows will feature Phil Lesh on bass joined by trumpeter Jennifer Hartswick, saxophonist James Casey, multi-instrumentalist Jason Crosby, drummer John Molo as well as guitarists Eric Krasno and Grahame Lesh.

Phil Lesh & Friends start the brief excursion at Boston’s Leader Bank Pavilion on Friday, July 22. Lesh’s ensemble then headlines the Great South Bay Music Festival in Patchogue, New York on Saturday, July 22 before ending the trip at New Haven’s Westville Music Bowl on Sunday, July 23.
