Phil Lesh Announces Three Nights In Las Vegas

By Scott Bernstein Dec 15, 2015 6:30 am PST

After a roller coaster 2015, Phil Lesh is starting to set his sights on 2016. In late February, the Grateful Dead bassist will head to the Las Vegas outpost of Brooklyn Bowl for a three-night stand.

On February 26 and 27, Lesh will head up a pair of Phil & Friends shows in Sin City featuring guitarists John Kadlecik and Stanley Jordan, multi- instrumentalist Jason Crosby and drummer John Molo. The unit will also be joined by what has been billed as “a very special guest.” Then, on February 28, Phil Lesh will team with the Terrapin Family Band featuring guitarists Grahame Lesh and Ross James, drummer Alex Koford and Crosby as special guest.

Ticket packages go on sale this Friday, December 18 at 10 a.m. PT.

Last night Phil played a short set at the bar of his Terrapin Crossroads restaurant/venue in San Rafael, California with guitarists Stu Allen, Neal Casal and Ross James as well as drummer Pete Lavezzoli. The set turned out to be a long “Playing In The Band” with excursions to “Unbroken Chain” and “Shakedown Street” in the middle.
