Phil Lesh And Friends | The Return Of Jackie

Last night Phil Lesh & Friends kicked off a four-night stand at Terrapin Crossroads in San Rafael, CA that features the impressive lineup of Lesh joined by Jackie Greene, Luther Dickinson, Jason Crosby and Cody Dickinson. Greene, hot off his year-long tenure as a member of The Black Crowes, showed off his vocal and multi-instrumental prowess throughout the evening.

Phil’s latest quintet was joined by Terrapin Family Band drummer Alex Koford on percussion for a large chunk of the second set. Mixed in among Grateful Dead classics were covers of The Beatles’s “Come Together” and the Allman Brothers Band’s “Mountain Jam” -which has suddenly become a staple for Lesh’s bands. The run continues tonight and you can watch live via a Pay-Per-View webcast.
