Phases Of The Moon Announces Initial 2015 Lineup

The second annual Phases Of The Moon Music + Art Festival will take place at Mulberry Mountain in Ozark, Arkansas between October 16 -18. Phases’ inaugural fest at Mulberry Mountain follows last year’s debut of the event in Danville, Illinois. Today, festival organizers have announced the initial lineup for this year’s event.

The Disco Biscuits, STS9, moe. and Yonder Mountain String Band have been tapped to headline Phases Of The Moon 2015. STS9’s performance will be an acoustic “Axe The Cables” set. Once again Phases will host a Lunar Landing Conspiracy set featuring a surprise lineup presented by a “curator” each year. The curator’s challenge is to conceptualize and orchestrate a full concert set utilizing the talented cast of musicians, performers and artists present at Phases of the Moon Festival. Beats Antique, Xavier Rudd & United Nations, Lefotver Salmon, Brett Dennen, Lettuce, Lake Street Dive, Rusted Root and ALO are among the other acts on the lineup.

In addition to plenty of music, Phases of the Moon Music & Art Festival will have a plethora of performing art on-site including aerialists, fire spinners, hoopers, jugglers, stilt walkers and more. There’s also art installations from large interactive sculptures to major installations and live art. Other activities will be available such as hiking, disc golf, the Crescent Moon Kids Camp, Phases Farmers Market and the Non-Profit Village.
