Peter Frampton Gears Up For Rock Hall Induction With The Positively Thankful Tour Dates

Veteran rock guitarist Peter Frampton will embark on The Positively Thankful Tour later this year. The tour announcement comes in the wake of Frampton being voted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame.

Frampton will be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame alongside Dave Matthews Band, Cher, Mary J. Blige, A Tribe Called Quest, Foreigner, Kool & The Gang and Ozzy Osbourne at a ceremony held on October 19.

“It’s been an incredible year for me and my band so far,” Frampton stated. “First the nomination, then you guys voted like crazy and got me into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Come September, we’ll be back out for nine more shows on ‘The Positively Thankful Tour’! Can’t wait to see you then!”

The Positively Thankful Tour will take place in September. The nine-show engagement begins on September 8 in North Charleston, South Carolina. Frampton then heads to Washington D.C. on September 10. New York City’s famed Beacon Theatre welcomes Frampton on September 12 before he heads up to Albany, New York on September 13.

Frampton brings The Positively Thankful Tour to Westport, Connecticut on September 15. The guitarist then plays in Richmond, Virginia on September 17 and in Philadelphia on September 19. The brief tour wraps with shows on September 21 in Niagara Falls, New York and in Northfield, Ohio on September 23.

Peter Frampton’s The Positively Thankful Tour tickets go on sale on Friday, June 28.
