Perpetual Groove To Enter Studio & Plotting 2016 Tour Dates

Last weekend Perpetual Groove continued their reunion with a pair of shows at Pisgah Brewing Company in Black Mountain, North Carolina. For those wondering whether the PGroove revival will continue beyond what has already been announced a recent interview contains good news on that front.

Keyboardist Matt McDonald spoke with the Herald Journal and revealed the quartet has already started making plans for more touring next year. McDonald also said the band hopes to record a new song this month. Matt gave a hint of what is in store by mentioning PGroove isn’t recording a new song but “one that has been played already.”

In other PGroove news, the band has teamed with Consume Concerts to issue high-definition video of their May reunion shows at the Georgia Theatre in Athens. A two-night package includes both shows the quartet played inside of the venue as well as their acoustic rooftop set. For a taste of the new release, watch “Tusevun” from the rooftop set:
