Perpetual Groove, Adam Deitch & More Aboard For ‘Free Peachtree Project’ Stream

Perpetual Groove, Lettuce‘s Adam Deitch, Cherub and more are on board for the Free Peachtree Project streaming event benefitting voting rights nonprofit Fair Fight Action. The one-day virtual festival takes place on Saturday, August 1 and will stream via MixCloud beginning at 12 p.m. ET.

Also on the bill are Artifaks, Daily Bread, Day Tripper, Pure Colors, Late Night Radio, Soul Food Cypher, Midnite Panda, Maddy O’Neal, Motifv and more with visuals and production provided by Lazershark. Produced by Hawk’s Nest Music, many of the local Atlanta artists will safely perform from ATL’s Ravine venue.

Additionally, the event sees a number of Atlanta’s visual artists — Greg Mike, Yoyo Ferro, Wolfdog, Angie Jerez, Thomas Turner and more — donating pieces to help the fundraiser for Fair Fight Action. The nonprofit’s mission is to promote “fair elections in Georgia and around the country, encourage voter participation in elections, and educate voters about elections and their voting rights,” as per Fair Fight Action’s website. “Fair Fight brings awareness to the public on election reform, advocates for election reform at all levels, and engages in other voter education programs and communications.”
