Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame act The Who used a night off from their North American Tour to return to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Not only did The Who perform one of their most iconic songs for Wednesday evening’s broadcast, they also played another beloved classic as a web exclusive.
Vocalist Roger Daltrey and guitarist Peter Townshend led their talented backing band on the 1967 hit “I Can See For Miles” off The Who Sell Out for the actual broadcast. Daltrey, Townshend & Co. then presented a six-minute rendition of “You Better You Bet” off 1981’s Face Dances. The Who sound in fine form as they prep for a Las Vegas residency with a series of Northeast concerts. Next up for the band is a performance in Uncasville, Connecticut on Thursday.
