Pavement Musical ‘Slanted! Enchanted!’ To Workshop In New York City

A Pavement musical, Slanted! Enchanted! A Pavement Musical, is set to workshop in New York City next month. Presented by Matador Records, performances are set for December 1 at 8 p.m. ET and December 2 at 2 p.m. ET at the Sheen Center.

Slanted and Enchanted is the title of Pavement’s 1992 debut album. Written and directed by Alex Ross Perry, Slanted! Enchanted! A Pavement Musical is based on songs by the alt-rock band with arrangements from Keegan Dewitt and Dabney Morris and choreography from Angela Trimbur​. The musical stars Michael Esper, Zoe Lister-Jones and Kathryn Gallagher.
