Paul Simon Says He Will Play New Orleans Jazz Fest

While we’re likely still a few weeks away from the announcement of next year’s New Orleans Jazz Fest lineup, one artist couldn’t wait to spill the beans. Paul Simon revealed he’ll be returning to the Crescent City for the 2016 installment of Jazz Fest.

As The New Orleans Advocate reports, Simon broke the news yesterday at Le Petit Theatre du Vieux Carre where he played a 75-minute set with his band. In between “The Boxer” and “Diamonds On The Souls Of Her Shoes,” Paul told the crowd “I love New Orleans! I’m coming back down for Jazz Fest!”

The 2016 installment of Jazz Fest runs April 22 – May 1.
