Paul McCartney performed for Global Citizen’s One World: Together At Home event on Saturday. The rock legend delivered The Beatles’ classic “Lady Madonna” on the Fender Rhodes electric piano.

“Lady Madonna” first arrived as a single in 1968. For his Together At Home performance, Paul offered some encouraging words and also talked about how his mother Mary was a nurse during World War II before performing “Lady Madonna” to help raise funds and awareness for the World Health Organization’s COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund supporting those on the front lines fighting the coronavirus pandemic.
