Paul McCartney ‘McCartney III Imagined’ Remix Album Features Khruangbin, Beck, St. Vincent & More

Paul McCartney curated an impressive list of artists to contribute to McCartney III Imagined, a new album due through Capitol Records on April 16 containing new versions of songs from his 2020 LP, McCartney III. Khruangbin, Beck and St. Vincent are among those featured on McCartney III Imagined, which the legendary musician previewed with Dominic Fike‘s “The Kiss Of Venus” cover and an accompanying video.
Each artist either covered or remixed their favorite McCartney III track for McCartney III Imagined. Phoebe Bridgers, Radiohead guitarist Ed O’Brien’s EOB, Blood Orange, Damon Albarn, Josh Homme, Anderson .Paak and 3D RDN round out the list of those who took part in the project with Idris Elba remixing a track for the album’s physical release.

McCartney III is the third in a trilogy of self-titled albums that Paul recorded at home and for which he played all instruments on. The series began with Paul’s 1970 solo debut, McCartney and continued with 1980’s McCartney II.
