Paul McCartney & Rick Rubin Pair On Documentary Series

Paul McCartney and Rick Rubin teamed up for a documentary series. The yet to be named docu-series sees the iconic musician and the famed producer reliving McCartney’s legendary life in music.
The landmark series includes the duo discussing McCartney’s first guitar and composition to his astronomical success with The Beatles and beyond, as per Deadline, who first reported on the series. The breaking news also came just days before Macca releases his solo album, McCartney III.

Film 45, Jeff Pollack and Frank Marshall, the latter just directed The Bee Gees: How Can You Mend a Broken Heart, handled producing on the six-part series. Deadline also reported that making the film marked the first time McCartney’s hallowed master recordings with The Beatles and more left Abbey Road Studios.
