Oteil Burbridge & LaMP Unite For Inaugural Wish Benefit Tour 2026

Oteil Burbridge will join forces with LaMP for the first time this October to embark on the Wish Benefit Tour 2026. The four-night concert series benefits Make-A-Wish.

Burbridge and the Vermont-based trio consisting of guitarist Scott Metzger, keyboardist Ray Paczkowski and drummer Russ Lawton are slated to kick off the run on October 6 at Universal Preservation Hall in Saratoga Springs, New York. The Wish Benefit Tour then hits Burlington, Vermont on October 7 and the original Brooklyn Bowl on October 8 before wrapping on October 9 at the Somerville Theatre in Somerville, Massachusets.

“I’m so excited to share the stage with Russ, Ray and Scott on this upcoming run for such a great organization,” said longtime Dead & Company and Allman Brothers bassist Oteil Burbridge. “I’ve participated in Make-A-Wish since the Allman Brothers days but it has been a long time. This is a rare opportunity to join LaMP and see what flavor of musical brew we can conjure up. Don’t miss this one if you’re within striking distance.”

You just feel it,” noted Scott Metzger of LaMP. “Every time I’ve played with Oteil he’s been beyond thoughtful and generous as a collaborator, contributing creative ideas left and right. The fact that the four of us get to play together for the first time for a great cause like Make-A-Wish makes these shows that much more special. I have no doubt this is going to be an outrageous tour.”

In the middle of everything he was facing, it gave him something to look forward to and reminded all of us how much joy is still possible. Registration for access to the Wish Benefit Tour ticket presale grants access to a presale starting on Wednesday, July 29 at 10 a.m. ET and running for 24 hours. General on-sales follow on Friday, July 31 at 10 a.m. ET.

Make-A-Wish grants wishes for children who are facing critical illnesses “to provide hope, strength and joy throughout the healing process.” Proceeds from the Wish Benefit Tour 2026 will go towards the Make-A-Wish Vermont & Northeast New York and Make-A-Wish Massachusetts & Rhode Island chapters.
