Organizers Reveal Monterey International Pop Festival – Celebrates 50 Years Lineup

Organizers have revealed the lineup of performers appearing at the Monterey International Pop Festival – Celebrates 50 Years three-day music fest. This year’s event will be held on on June 16 – 18, exactly 50 years to the day of the legendary 1967 festival, and it will take place at the Monterey County Fairgrounds, the same site of the original landmark event.

Another Planet Entertainment and Goldenvoice, in association with the Monterey International Pop Festival Foundation, have confirmed appearances by Jack Johnson, Phil Lesh & The Terrapin Family Band, Norah Jones, The Head and the Heart, Father John Misty, Regina Spektor, Leon Bridges, Gary Clark Jr., Jim James, Kurt Vile & The Violators, Booker T. Stax Revue and others. Lou Adler, who co-produced the 1967 festival, has been tapped to help oversee the 2017 event that will also feature performances by Jackie Greene, Nicki Bluhm & Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Charles Bradley & His Extraordinaires, Sara Watkins, North Mississippi Allstars, Dr. Dog, Eric Burdon & The Animals, Hiss Golden Messenger, Jamtown feat. Cisco Adler, Donavon Frankenreiter & G. Love and more.
