Last night at The Elks Lodge in Saint Augustine, Florida, 1980s pop cover band Omega Moos played their second show in as many nights after taking the stage for the first time since 2013 Friday night in Augusta, Georgia. The side project of Umphrey’s McGee guitarist Brendan Bayliss, bassist Ryan Stasik and drummer Kris Myers with theNEWDEAL’s keyboardist Jamie Shields, welcomed drummer Adam Deitch to the stage for a guest spot in the Sunshine State.

Like the previous night, Friday’s Moos set included covers of Phil Collins and Philip Bailey’s “Easy Lover,” Hall & Oates’ “I Can’t Go For That (No Can Do),” Thomas Dolby’s “She Blinded Me With Science,” Foreigner’s “Double Vision,” Corey Hart’s “Sunglasses At Night,” Devo’s “Whip It,” and Billy Idol’s “Rebel Yell” which again closed out the show. Omega Moos mixed it up by bringing drummer Adam Deitch out midway through the one set show for a take on Prince’s “Controversy.” Deitch’s band Lettuce and Umphrey’s McGee are in the midst of a two night stand at the Saint Augustine Amphitheatre, which wraps up tonight.
