The inaugural Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival will take place in Okeechobee, Florida March 3 – 6 with a varied lineup that includes Mumford & Sons, Skrillex, Robert Plant, Hall & Oates, The Avett Brothers, Ween and many others. Today, festival organizers have announced the event’s exclusive “Aquachobee” beach zone with a stage that will host dawn-to-dusk performances from electronic artists, bands, and DJs including Hermitude, Twiddle, Manic Focus, Wolfram, Life on Planets, Mixmaster Morris, Jan Blomqvist, Dirk Largo, The Whitest Taino Alive and more.

Aquachobee will be situated in the heart of Okeechobee’s Moonlight Oasis, where the Florida jungle meets the site’s white sand beach. Festivalgoers will be able to swim, sunbathe, take advantage of a ferris wheel or just enjoy live music between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. as Aquachobee’s programming will run as a counterpoint to the all-night dance music of the nearby Jungle 51. A press release announcing Aquachobee lineup contains word of an intriguing Thursday performance from the Okeechobee Allstars which features Oteil Burbridge of Dead & Company, Roosevelt Collier of The Lee Boys, Jeremy Salken of Big Gigantic and “special guests.

Tickets and VIP passes for Okeechobee are on sale now via the event’s website.
