Ohana Music Festival Reveals Inaugural Lineup

The Ohana music festival will make its debut at Doheny State Beach in Dana Point, California on August 27 – 28. Organizers Live Nation and SGE have announced the lineup of acts playing the inaugural two-day concert event.

Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder performing solo, Elvis Costello, Band Of Horses, Lana Del Rey and City and Colour are among the artists topping the Ohana bill. Also slated to appear are Cat Power, X, Mudhoney, Corinne Bailey Rae, Ryan Bingham, Jack Irons, Lily Meola, Jonny Two Bags and Wilderado , with more acts expected to be added. Champion pro-surfer Kelly Slater will also be on hand to present a surf and ocean awareness exhibit on the festival grounds.

Tickets to each day of Ohana go on sale beginning Friday, April 8 at 10 a.m. PT with a portion of sales going toward the California-based non-profit San Onofre Parks Foundation which works with California State Parks to monitor the state’s coastal parks. Vedder and Slater will also appear on August 26 at the Ohana Luau hosted by comedian Jeff Ross and featuring a live auction and music by The John Doe Experiment at The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel with proceeds also benefiting the San Onofre Parks Foundation.
