The 2018 Northwest String Summit will once again be held at Horning’s Hideout in North Plains, Oregon July 19 – 22. Organizers of the event have just added to the initial lineup announced earlier this year.
Recent Grammy winners The Infamous Stringdusters will perform twice at this July’s festival. In addition, today’s announcement features word Leftover Salmon’s two performances will be one set that is a tribute to Neil Young and another that is billed as “Leftover Salmon’s Funky Brass Breakdown.” LoS will be joined by the “High Country Horns” consisting of Jennifer Hartswick, Natalie Cressman and Skerik for the Funky Brass Breakdown set.
Keller Williams will be on hand at this year’s String Summit for a performance with The Andys: Andy Falco, Andy Hall and Andy Thorn. Other additions to the NWSS ’18 lineup include Shook Twins, Sideboob, Horseshoes & Hand Grenades and John Craigie. Check out the Northwest String Summit lineup below.
Previously announced acts include Yonder Mountain String Band and Greensky Bluegrass, who will each perform three times, and Railroad Earth, Fruition and Mandolin Orange, who are among the acts that will play NWSS ’18 twice. Tickets are on sale now via the festival’s website.
