Mötley Crüe Fan Norah Jones Extends ‘Visions’ Tour 2024 Into Fall

Norah Jones‘ tour surrounding her recently released Visions album has been expanded into fall. The singer-songwriter and pianist confirmed details of three new concerts with Emily King, including a show in Dallas where she teased the inclusion of a Mötley Crüe cover.

Visions, Jones’ ninth studio album, arrived on Blue Note Records in March. The record was made in collaboration with producer and multi-instrumentalist Leon Michels (Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings, Lee Fields & The Expressions, The Arcs). Norah Jones’ new dates surround a series of festival appearances.

On September 21, Norah Jones will perform at the Cadence Bank Amphitheatre at Chastain Park in Atlanta. Jones also announced shows in the Texas cities of Dallas on October 14 and Houston on October 15. “We’ll be joined by Emily King in Dallas, Houston and Atlanta!” wrote Jones. “I’m singing Mötley Crüe to YOU, Dallas!”

Jones discussed her appreciation of Mötley Crüe during a 2023 interview published by Forbes. “I listen to a lot of Motley Crue, especially when I’m working out,” Norah explained. “Probably ‘Shout at the Devil.’ That would be really fun. Obviously, Vince Neil would be fun but Tommy Lee would be fun. I don’t know. I’m super open, man,” Jones responded when asked about which of the metal act’s songs she’d like to cover and what band member she’d want to play it with.
