NOLA Crawfish Festival Announces 2018 Lineup

The 2018 NOLA Crawfish Festival will return to Central City BBQ in New Orleans from April 30 to May 2. Organizers of the third annual event taking place between Jazz Fest weekends have announced the lineup for this year’s slate of musical performances.

Once again the NOLA Crawfish Festival will feature several collaborative pairings of performers, along with headliner Tab Benoit’s Whiskey Bayou Records Revue featuring Jeff McCarty and Eric Johanson. Other acts appearing at the fest will be Dr. Klaw which includes Ian Neville, Adam Deitch, Nigel Hall and Nick Daniels and will feature Cyril Neville. Special guest George Porter Jr. will perform with Ivan Neville & Friends. The Jon Cleary Band will showcase Big D Perkins, Cornell Williams and AJ Hall.

The NCF Southern Soul Revue made up of Luther Dickinson, John Medeski, Roosevelt Collier, Ron Johnson and Terence Higgins will take the stage together at the fest. Also confirmed were Samantha Fish, New Orleans Suspects and Sonic Bloom featuring Eric Benny Bloom.

For the first time NCF will host the NOLA Crawfish Eating Championship. Returning for the third time, the event will host the Ultimate Crawfish Cookoff team competition as well.
