Noah Kahan's record-breaking run in Boston continued on Wednesday with his second of four consecutive sold-out shows at Fenway Park. The Vermont singer-songwriter changed up a few things from opening night, including the live debut of “Lighthouse.”

Prior to this historic run, no musician had ever headlined four performances at the stadium during a single booking. The New Englander added to the feat by selling out all four shows.

Noah Kahan is touring in support of The Great Divide, his new album. While Kahan’s run began on Tuesday with a show played as heavy rain poured down on Fenway for the entirety of his two-and-a-half hour performance, the weather was near perfect on Wednesday.

The first setlist switch on Wednesday came at the end of Kahan’s second of six acts, when he dusted off “Mess.” Kahan hadn’t played the track from his Busyhead album since ending his Stick Season Tour in 2024, outside of a performance of the song at a special charity event in Stowe, Vermont last fall attended by fewer than 1,500 fans.

Next, as part of Kahan’s running bit where he gets a phone call before “She Calls Me Back,” legendary Red Sox player David “Big Papi” Ortiz called in and took a shot at the Yankees, exclaiming “daaaaa Yankees lose! Go, Sox!” Ortiz’s video message followed a cameo from New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye in the same spot on night one. Opener Gigi Perez sang “She Calls Me Back” with Kahan.

Noah Kahan went on to treat the Fenway Faithful to his first-ever public performance of “Lighthouse” towards the end of his fifth act. The song is one of four bonus tracks featured on The Great Divide: The Last Of The Bugs, the deluxe edition of his recently released fourth album. Kahan started the tender ballad solo before the members of his band joined in.

The rest of the 25-song setlist was chock full of Great Divide tracks, including “Haircut,” “Orbiter,” “Porch Light,” “Doors” and several others. Kahan also worked in setlist staples such as “All My Love,” “The View Between Villages,” “Northern Attitude,” “Orange Juice” and the traditional “Stick Season” closer.

Noah Kahan returns to Fenway tonight (Friday, July 10) and tomorrow (Saturday, July 11). The Great Divide Tour runs through December 7.
