Nine Inch Nails kicked off a UK run at Glasgow, Scotland’s O2 Academy on Wednesday. Trent Reznor, Atticus Ross and company unshelved “Discipline” and “Down In It” and also fit in a live debut.

NIN got things underway with “The Beginning Of The End” off their 2007 album, Year Zero, before taking it back to their 1992 EP Broken with “Wish.” Reznor then led the band through the first “Discipline,” off 2008’s The Slip, in nearly 13 years. NIN last performed the song on September 10, 2009 in Los Angeles, as per SetlistFM stats. The band then debuted Hesitation Marks (2013) single, “Everything,” live for the first time nearly a decade after its release.

Toward the end of the set, Reznor included a cover from his friend and collaborator David Bowie in the form of “I’m Afraid Of Americans.” Trent worked on remixes of the 1997 single and also appeared in the music video with Bowie. After “I’m Afraid of Americans,” NIN dusted off “Down In It.” Reznor delivered the tune off NIN’s 1989 debut album Pretty Hate Machine for the first time in more than a decade. Nine Inch Nails would close out the evening with “Hurt.”
