Nickel Creek Reveals 2024 Winter & Spring Tour Dates

The extensive trek comes in support of Celebrants, the trio’s first new album in nine years.

After a big 2023 that included their first album and tour since 2014, Nickel Creek will continue their time together with an extensive headlining trek next winter and spring. The trio announced tour dates spanning February 6 through May 2, 2024 in support of their Celebrants album, which came out this past March.

Nickel Creek — mandolinist Chris Thile, violinist Sara Watkins and guitarist Sean Watkins — open the tour by performing at Hancher Auditorium in Iowa City, Iowa on February 6. Additional Midwest stops follow in Madison (Wisconsin), Des Moines (Iowa), Indianapolis, Peoria (Illinois), Kalamazoo (Michigan), Columbus, Fort Wayne (Indiana) and Louisville. Then, after shows in Durham (North Carolina) and Augusta (Georgia), the three-piece concludes the first leg in Florida with concerts in Jacksonville on February 21, Fort Lauderdale on February 23 and Clearwater on February 24.

The tour resumes on March 12 in Canton, Ohio. From there Nickel Creek brings the trek to Bethesda (Maryland), Newark (New Jersey), Rochester (New York), Burlington (Vermont), Groton (Massachusetts), Storrs (Connecticut), Troy (New York), Buffalo (New York) and Lancaster (Pennsylvania) over the remainder of March. After a month off, the trio will return to the road for shows in Knoxville (Tennessee) on April 26, Savannah (Georgia) on April 27, Huntsville (Alabama) on April 30 and Little Rock (Arkansas) on May 2 to end the extensive excursion.
