Organizers of the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival will present the beloved event in fall as opposed to its usual spring dates due to the pandemic. Jazz Fest 2021 will be held at The Fairgrounds October 8 – 17.
“We are all ready to get together again and share that special spirit that lives at Jazz Fest. It’s taking longer than we want, but we’ll all have our celebration when the time comes,” noted Jazz Fest producer/director Quint Davis in a statement. “Your health, along with the health of our musicians, food and crafts vendors, and all of the folks that work to make the magic happen, remains the priority as we plan the return of Jazz Fest.” The festival was originally scheduled for April 22 – May 2, 2021.

Jazz Fest organizers will start rolling out details of the 2021 event this spring. Additionally, the process for exchanging or refunding tickets will be announced in the coming weeks. Ticketholders should receive emails directly from the Festival Ticket Office.
Last year’s Jazz Fest was canceled after organizers initially postponed the event.
