The New Mastersounds Recruit Soulive Drummer Alan Evans For Run Of Shows

The New Mastersounds‘ drummer Simon Allen will not appear at the band’s next four shows due to “unavoidable circumstances.” The quartet has recruited Soulive drummer Alan Evans for the run of dates that start later this week.

It will be Alan in place of Allen beginning on Thursday, August 4 at Wonder Bar in Asbury Park, New York. The Soulive drummer will also be onboard, literally, for the NMS Rocks Off Concert Cruise in New York City on Friday, August 5. Both of The New Mastersounds sets at the ARISE Music Festival in Loveland, Colorado taking place on Saturday, August 6 and Sunday, August 7 will also have Evans on drums.
