Jam Cruise shared video of a collaboration between The New Mastersounds and guitarist Daniel Donato from the 2024 voyage. The “Cigar Time” performance comes in anticipation of Jam Cruise, which sets sail on February 14, 2025.

Jam Cruise 20 saw a memorable collab on the pool deck when Daniel Donato joined The New Mastersounds — Eddie Roberts (guitarist), Simon Allen (drummer), Pete Shand (bassist), Joe Tatton (keyboardist) — for “Cigar Time.” The instrumental appearing on NMS’s 2015 LP, Made For Pleasure (and a number Donato has covered live), carries a definite cruise ship pool vibe, which Roberts and Donato enhanced with “guitarmonies.”
