New Festival Alert: American Roots Music & Arts Festival To Debut In October

The inaugural American Roots Music & Arts Festival will take place at Walnut Creek Amphitheatre in Raleigh, North Carolina October 17 and 18. Live Nation has paired up with the team behind Dear Jerry, Nevilles Forever and other tributes to throw the new festival. North Carolina’s own Eric Church will headline both nights of the festival. The jam-friendly lineup includes Warren Haynes, Grace Potter, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Railroad Earth, Leftover Salmon and Greensky Bluegrass. Modest Mouse, Sheryl Crow, The Roots and Willie Nelson are also among the artists aboard for the inaugural American Roots Festival.

Additional performers and events will be announced soon. Artist fan club and Citi® cardmember pre-sales begin Thursday, August 6 at 10 a.m. ET through Sunday, August 9 at 10 p.m. ET. The general on-sale is scheduled for Monday, August 10 at 10 a.m. ET.
