The new City Winery Open music, food and wine festival will make its debut later this year at the recently recently restored Forest Hills Stadium in Queens, New York. Organizers Madison House Presents and City Winery have revealed the lineup of artists performing at the inaugural two-day event slated for September 17 and 18.

Appearing at the former site of the U.S. Open Tennis Championships, the lineup for the first City Winery Open includes Aretha Franklin, Sheryl Crow, Gillian Welch, Jakob Dylan and the Wallflowers, Chris Robinson Brotherhood, Dawes, Josh Ritter, Deer Tick, Houndmouth and The Wild Feathers. Additionally, the event will feature 40 of the area’s top chefs and restaurant owners such as Daniel Boulud, Drew Nieporent, David Waltuck, Marcus Samuelsson and Joey Campanaro. There will also be more than 75 of the top wineries from across the world on hand.

“Over the past eight years at City Winery, we have been blessed to cultivate relationships with stars in the worlds of music, food and wine that converge to create such a unique experience at our five locations around the country,” City Winery Founder and CEO Michael Dorf said. “The Open is our opportunity to express this vision at a much larger scale, with the same commitment to quality, in a two-day experience in our own backyard.”
