New Chicago Venue Outset Announces Initial Concert Lineup Kicking Off With George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic

A new Chicago venue, Outset, will open its doors on June 1 with a two-night stand from George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic and Dumpstaphunk. Also among Outset’s initial lineup are Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Thievery Corporation and more.

An Auris Presents (Concord Music Hall, Radius) venue, Outset is located on the outskirts of Lincoln Yards in Chicago. The 750-capacity, 10,000 square foot space was “designed to offer the production value of a large-scale venue coupled with the vibe of an intimate and up-close setting,” as per a press release.

“For us, music is how we make memories,” Auris Presents co-founder Stuart Hackley stated. “We’re excited to bring more experiences, artists, and moments to life as we add to the fabric of Chicago’s musical landscape for decades to come.”
