The news of Young’s return to the Roxy was confirmed in a Los Angeles Times’ feature on the club. Roxy owner, and Rock & Roll Hall of Famer, Lou Adler spoke with the paper about the venue’s deep history hosting a who’s who of legendary musicians.

The GRAMMY Museum will present an exhibit at the Roxy this fall documenting the club’s story. The exhibit will open at the museum on September 15 and runs through January 7, 2024.

Neil Young & Crazy Horse played a three-night engagement at the Roxy on Sunset Strip from September 20 – 22, 1973. The band, now referred to as The Santa Monica Flyers due to the inclusion of Nils Lofgren and Ben Keith and exclusion of the soon-to-join Frank Sampedro, performed two concerts each night. Highlights of the shows were collected for the 2018 live archival release Roxy: Tonight’s The Night.

Young continues his Coastal Tour tomorrow in Auburn, Washington. The solo jaunt conludes with shows on Sunday in Napa, California and Monday in Stateline, Nevada.
