Neal Schon’s Journey Through Time Adds 2019 Dates
Rock & Roll Hall Of Famer and founding member of Journey, Neal Schon will embark on a series of dates with his Neal Schon’s Journey Through Time project. The group kicks off the jaunt later this month and also has a pair of performances set for early-March.
Schon’s group includes his former Journey and Santana band mate Gregg Rolie on keys and vocals, former Journey drummer Deen Castronovo and bassist Todd Jensen and Chris Collins. Journey Through Time made their debut with a sold-out show in San Francisco and focused on material from Journey’s first three prog-oriented album. Look for the group to add Journey hits into the repertoire for the tour. Castronovo and Rolie will handle lead vocals, though Schon reached out with an open invitation for former Journey vocalist Steve Perry to sit-in.
Neal Schon’s Journey Through Time kicks off the brief run at Jackson Rancheria Casino in Jackson, California on February 22. Next up is a performance at Oakland’s Fox Theater on February 23. Then, the band heads to Phoenix for a show at The Van Buren on March 1 before concluding the jaunt at The Orpheum in Los Angeles on March 2.
