Mungion & The Magic Beans Announce Co-Headline Tour

Chicago-based band Mungion and Colorado’s Magic Beans announced a 2019 fall co-headline tour. The tour will see the bands in the Midwest, South and Northeast.

The groups will trade off closing duties each show. The Beans are touring around their 2019 album Off Leash while Mugnion is hitting the road around their 2018 LP Ferris Wheel’s Day Off.

“This tour will be something special,” Scott Hachey of The Magic Beans said. “The two bands are matched in a way where the overall goal and outcome of our music is the same, however, our means of achieving said response varies. Meaning we both set out to lift up the crowds’ spirits with high energy tunes, but our sounds and musical approach are different.”

The tour kicks off on November 6 in Kansas City before both bands head through the South including concerts in New Orleans; Athens, Georgia and Asheville, North Carolina. The groups will then set their sights on the Northeast with shows in Asbury Park, New Jersey and Brooklyn among others. The tour wraps up in Cleveland on November 24.

Both Mungion and The Magic Beans have other dates on the books for the fall. The Beans will be fresh off a short jaunt with Cycles as well as a three-night Halloween run playing The String Cheese Incident afterparty at Stubb’s Indoors in Austin. Mungion will celebrate Halloween in their native Illinois with a Halloween show at Durty Nellie’s in Palatine as well as a New Year’s Eve run at Martyrs’ in Chicago.
