Last November, Mumford & Sons performed a set with the London Contemporary Orchestra for BBC Radio’s Live Lounge series. The BBC shared Mumford & Sons’ symphonic rendition of “The Cave” from the set in honor of the 10th anniversary of the group’s debut album, Sigh No More.
Sigh No More was originally released in the United Kingdom on October 2, 2009 and on February 16, 2010 in the United States and Canada. A track from a BBC session Mumford & Sons recorded around the time the LP was issued is now available as part of the Sigh No More Sessions EP. The band’s performance with the London Contemporary Orchestra was recorded on November 12, 2018 in London and aired on November 29.
