Multi-Cam Video: The Breakfast Covers Phish At Wormtown Music Festival

Performances from Connecticut-based jam act The Breakfast are few and far between these days as the musicians focus on other projects such as Kung Fu. The Breakfast did gather together for a Saturday afternoon set at the Wormtown Music Festival in Greenfield, Massacusetts. Included within the set was a standout cover of “You Enjoy Myself” by Phish and high-quality video of the “YEM” has surfaced.
Saturday’s version of “You Enjoy Myself” was a little looser than the last Breakfast cover of the tune we wrote up but in a good way. The quartet absolutely nailed the composed section with Kung Fu drummer Adrian Tramontano adding extra flair to his parts. Guitarist Tim Palmieri shreds through the solo while putting an auto-wah effect to good use. Bassist Chris DeAngelis and Tramontano crush the bass/drums duel ahead of a segue into the end of “Metropolis,” the song from which they originally transitioned into “You Enjoy Myself.”
