My Morning Jacket To Release ‘Okonokos’ Vinyl Reissue

Earlier this year My Morning Jacket reissued their 2003 studio album It Still Moves and now the band has confirmed their 2006 live album Okonokos will also be reissued as a four-LP vinyl release.

Originally recorded in 2005 during a two-night stand at The Fillmore in San Francisco on November 11 and 12, the upcoming reissue contains three additional songs not on the now out-of-print initial 2006 release. The bonus tracks include the song they recorded for the film Elizabethtown “Where To Begin,” as well as the rarity from the Chocolate and Ice EP “Sooner” and the At Dawn track “Strangulation.”

Other highlights within the live set include extended versions of “I Will Sing You Songs,” “Dondante,” “Run Thru,” “Steam Engine” and more. The four-LP vinyl reissue is slated for release on July 29 through ATO Records.
