My Morning Jacket Fan Pairs Multiple Fan-Shot Videos From NYC Show With FM Recording

On July 15 My Morning Jacket brought their current Summer Tour to New York City for a performance at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens. An intrepid fan has combined the best available footage from the show on YouTube with soundboard audio originally broadcast by WFUV. The result is a fantastic document of a killer MMJ concert.

YouTube’s Darkstarflashes used footage from five different videographers in the final cut. Four songs had no live concert clips, so Darkstarflashes used still images in slideshow form to fill in the blanks. Highlights from the show include an adventurous “Dondante,” the tour’s only “Gideon” thus far, an emotion-laden “Phone Went West” and such fan-favorites as “One Big Holiday,” “I’m Amazed” and “Golden.”
