My Morning Jacket Details Lineup For One Big Holiday 2017

Louisville rockers My Morning Jacket will team with Cloud 9 Adventures and The Bowery Presents to host the third edition of the all-inclusive, destination event One Big Holiday on February 4 – 8, 2017 at the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya in Riviera Maya, Mexico. Today, the band and event organizers have detailed the musical acts who will join My Morning Jacket at One Big Holiday in February.

In addition to three full shows from MMJ, One Big Holiday attendees will be treated to sets from Gary Clark Jr., The Head and the Heart, Kurt Vile & The Violators, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Deer Tick and Lucius. In addition, My Morning Jacket guitarist Carl Broemel will play a sunset set and Merrill Garbus of Tune-Yards will perform a late night DJ Set. If past installments of One Big Holiday are to be a guide, expect MMJ to welcome some of those on the lineup to join them as part of their headlining performances.

Beyond the music, festivalgoers can expect a full schedule of exciting happenings including artist-hosted activities, workshops, poolside games, cooking demos, theme nights and more. There will also be a Super Bowl viewing party with guest chefs Bobby Benjamin and Chad Welch from Butchertown Grocery providing a specially curated feast for the big game. Packages for One Big Holiday are all-inclusive which means attendees can make full use of the luxurious resort and all meals, beverages, concerts and activities are included in the event package price. A bevy of off-site excursions are also available.
