MonoNeon Harmonizes The Hive With ‘Beyoncé’ Single

Bassist MonoNeon shared a new single, “Beyoncé.” The ode to Queen Bey is set to land on MonoNeon’s forthcoming album, You Had Your Chance…Bad Attitude, due out on May 16 through Floki Studios and distributed by Color Red.
Recorded at Iceland’s renowned Floki Studios and also in MonoNeon’s hometown of Memphis, You Had Your Chance…Bad Attitude was previously previewed with the singles “Bad Attitude” and “God Reason” The latter featured funk legend George Clinton, comedian Katt Williams and Grammy-winning producer, songwriter and rapper James Fauntleroy (Kendrick Lamar, Beyonce, SZA).

MonoNeon now follows with “Beyoncé.” “My love for Beyoncé is so strong, if she sneezed I’d harmonize it,” the bassist said.
The funky cut boasts signature slap bass from MonoNeon, Bernie Worrell-esque synth and Funkadelic-inflected backing vocals. Listen to “Beyoncé” below:
