moe. Cancels Solshine Reverie & Northlands Festival Appearances

moe. has pulled out of their upcoming appearances at this weekend’s Solshine Reverie event and next month’s Northlands Music & Arts Festival. The band cited “extenuating family circumstances” as the reason for the cancelations.

“Due to extenuating family circumstances, we will be unable to join the festivities at Solshine Reverie this weekend and Northlands Music & Arts Festival in June,” wrote moe. in a note posted on social media channels. “We appreciate everyone’s understanding and ongoing support at this time.’

Solshine Reverie organizers posted a message on the event’s social feeds in regards to moe.’s announcement. “We are saddened to hear and share the news that moe. will not be joining us this weekend at Solshine Reverie,” stated organizers of the event. “Our hearts go out to all the members of the band and crew who have been a part of this special weekend we have collectively created over two decades. We will make sure that there is an overwhelming amount of support coming from the grounds at Three Sisters Park this weekend as we gather together.”

This weekend marks the inaugural Solshine Reverie, an event presented by Summer Camp Music Festival organizers this Friday, May 24 through Sunday, May 26. Solshine Reverie will be held in Summer Camp’s home of Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe, Illinois. “We will have answers for you on schedule updates as soon as we can,” added the Solshine Reverie/Summer Camp team. moe. was previously expected to perform at two days of the event.

Northlands is set for June 14 and 15 in Swanzey, New Hampshire. moe. was supposed to perform one 90-minute set on Saturday, June 15.

moe. are currently scheduled to kick off their summer tour on June 4 in Asbury Park, New Jersey with support from Daniel Donato and Neighbor at The Stone Pony Summer Stage. The run is expected to continue through August 3.
