moe. continued their West Coast tour with a concert Wednesday at the Fremont Theatre in San Luis Obispo, California. Bassist Rob Derhak was in charge of writing last night’s setlist, which included the band busting out a cover of the Grateful Dead’s “The Other One.”
moe.’s first performance of “The Other One” since their show at Terrapin Crossroads on June 28, 2018, occurred within the first-set closing “Yodelittle.” Prior to that, Derhaks’s setlist was constructed of a “Who You Calling Scared?” opener, followed by a pairing of “Kyle’s Song” with “Little Miss Cup Half Empty” and offering of “Crab Eyes.”
“Plane Crash” opened the second half the show and wrapped itself around the newer instrumental “Jazz Cigarette.” Next came the rarity “Angel,” which was followed by a sequence bringing together “Mar-DeMa,” “Prestige Worldwide,” “Bullet” and the closing “Kids.” Fans at the Fremont were given a “Puebela” encore for the final song of the night.
