moe. Shares ‘Crushing’ Single

moe. released “Crushing,” the second single from their forthcoming This Is Not, We Are studio album. This Is Not, We Are will be released one song at a time with the complete digital LP out via Fatboy Records on Friday, June 26.

The first moe. studio album since 2014’s No Guts, No Glory contains a total of 10 tracks as per Relix. Eight of the songs have been performed live by the band and the LP also includes two brand new tunes. Look for singles to be released every Tuesday and Thursday until the 26th.

“Crushing” was penned by moe. guitarist Al Schnier and debuted live by the band at the Summer Camp Music Festival in Chillicothe, Illinois on May 26, 2019. moe. has since performed the song seven additional times. The most recent version came on March 1, 2020 at the Crystal Bay Club Casino in Crystal Bay, Nevada. “Crushing” is “a song about infatuation,” Schnier told Relix. “It’s an unabashed song about being smitten with someone. I wrote it for my wife because I was smitten with her, and I still am.”
