The moe. and Blues Traveler co-headlining tour featuring support from G. Love moved on to MECU Pavilion in Baltimore on Saturday night. Once again, all three acts took part in the a collaborative set that went heavy on covers.
Blues Traveler’s set included such hits as “Run Around” and “Hook” and was bookended by portions of the Charlie Daniels Band’s “The Devil Went Down To Georgia.” The John Popper-led band also presented more recent fare, namely “The Touch She Has” and “The Wolf Is Bumpin.” Next was a collaborative performance that featured combinations of moe. and Blues Traveler performing the latter’s “100 Years” and the former’s “New York City.” Then, G. Love joined in for a cover of the Grateful Dead’s “Casey Jones” before leaving members of moe. and Blues Traveler to perform Tom Petty’s “Mary Jane’s Last Dance” and The Who’s “Join Together.” G. Love returned for the finale, a cover of Sublime’s “What I Got.”
